    Kid Made Camp—Sisters, Oregon

    9 am to 3 pm Monday–Friday

Plus: Sisters Farmers Market on Sunday (shifts to be determined; late morning to early afternoon are available)

    Grades K-4 and Grades 5-8

Can kids learn to cook and serve at a real, certified food cart? Can they develop their own smoothie recipes, price and cost them, sell them to real people in their community?

They sure can, with the right training and experience. Step right up for our Sisters Food Cart week, now happening in August. Our week-long camp will also include time for crafts and artistic expression, with the opportunity to sell at the farmers market.

Like our standard entrepreneur camp, this week takes a child through banking, philanthropy, marketing, and product creation & costing. To finish up on our final day, we sell fabulous foods from the Simple N Fresh food cart at the Sisters Farmers Market!

Campers put all of their knowledge together for a practical experience of customer service, cash handling, and cooking.  Participants will divide and keep the money from their sales.

    Participants learn:

    • How to manage money

    • Making change

    • How to cost out products

    • Marketing and branding

    • Product packaging and display

    • Food safety

    • Customer service

    • The benefits and downfalls of entrepreneurship

    • Leadership and team building

    • and so much more
